Mr. Masayuki Nakao, Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, and delegation paid a courtesy call on Governor of Bangkok on 11 May 2017.


           On Thursday 11 May 2016, twenty-six representatives from Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, Japan, headed by Mr. Masayuki Nakao, Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly and Mr. Seitaro Hattori, Vice Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture, paid a courtesy call on Governor of Bangkok from 13.30 - 14.00 hrs. at Amornpiman Room, Bangkok City Hall.  Objective of the visit is on the occasion that the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly delegation visited Thailand invited by Chairman of Bangkok Metropolitan Council.  Furthermore, this year marks the 10 years anniversary of friendly relations between Fukuoka and Bangkok and 130 years diplomatic relations between Japan and Thailand.  Fukuoka Prefecture Assembly would like to extend cooperative framework with Bangkok to cover extensive fields of exchange and cooperation.    In this regard, the Governor of Bangkok assigned Mr. Chakkapan Phewngam, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, to welcome the delegation with the presence of Mr. Nirunde Praditkul, Vice Chairman of Bangkok Metropolitan Council, Mrs. Rachaneewan Asvathitanon, Deputy Permanent Secretary for BMA, and Members of Bangkok Metropolitan Council (General Kanintorn Wongsarojana, General Konecharnart Chunnabhata, and Major General Sutthichai Wongbubpa).
