2017 Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors’ Forum (2017 APCS)

          Mr. Thaweesak Lertprapan, Deputy Governor of Bangkok and Mr. Vanchai Thanomsak, Deputy Permanent Secretary for BMA, led the BMA delegation to participate in the 2017 Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors’ Forum (2017 APCS) during 10-13 September 2017 in Daejeon Metropolitan City, Korea. The conference was convened under the theme “Shaping the Future of the Asia Pacific” It was the international platform to share knowledge, develop solutions for sustainable development and promote the growth of city, to support city development strategies and to enhance cooperation all level of delegates in Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Thaweesak Lertprapan, as the representative of the Governor of Bangkok, exchanged knowledge and idea on the issue “Revitalizing Cities through Vibrant Business Activities” in Mayors’ Forum. He gave the speech on health care scheme for patients and elderly people who need home health care through BMA Home Ward Referral System in order to improve quality of people and lead to sustainable city development in the future. The next Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors’ Forum shall be held in Brisbane, Australia in 2019
