          On 29 November to 2 December 2018, Mr. Vallop Suwandee, Chairman of Advisers to Governor of Bangkok led a delegation of BMA executives to attend The 5th General Assembly of Asian Mayors Forum and The 6th AMF Executive Board Committee in Gaziantep, Turkey

Asian Mayors Forum (AMF) as an international nongovernmental organization is a meeting between city leaders in Asia about diversity and the challenges facing Asian cities today, city-to-city cooperation and participation of the local government and civic level.

          The theme of the meeting is "Smart, Resilient and livable Asian Cities".  In addition to the 6th AMF Executive Board Meeting and the 5th AMF General Assembly, four technical sessions are arranged:

1. Traffic and Transportation (mobility) of Asian Cities,

2. Asian Smart Cities,

3. Asian Resilient Cities,

4. Asian Livable Cities

           In this occasion, Mr. Vallop had a presentation on the BMA’s Multimodal Transport System in which cooperated with the central government, Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Thailand’s Transport Infrastructure Development Strategy 2015-2022 in the Traffic and Transportation (mobility) of Asian Cities Session.
