H.E. Mr. Joseph Anthony Cotter, Ambassador of Ireland to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Pol. Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok

          

On 26 March 2019 at 10.00 a.m., H.E. Mr. Joseph Anthony Cotter, Ambassador of Ireland to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Pol. Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, on the occasion of his assumption of duty in Thailand and to seek for the possibility of cooperation with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.  In this regard, Deputy Governor of Bangkok (Mr. Kriangyos Sudlabha), Chairman of Advisors to Governor of Bangkok (Mr. Vallop Suwandee), Deputy Permanent Secretary for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (Mr. Khachit Chatchawanit), Director of International Affairs Office, and BMA officials jointly welcomed the Ambassador at Amornphimarn Room, Bangkok City Hall, Sao Chingcha  

The Ambassador mentioned that Thailand and Ireland have had the diplomatic relations for 45 years and Embassy of Ireland to Thailand was established in 2014.  Ireland would like to build the cooperation with Thailand in any possible fields.  Ireland has joined the top ranks of the world's best education system and there has been a welcome increase in the number of Thai students studying in Ireland.  It is expected that more Thai investors and businessmen visit Ireland for investing and doing business.
