Busan

City Information
Busan is the largest port city of South Korea with population of 3.6 millions and is the second largest city minor to Seoul. The crowded areas of Busan are located on narrow valley between Nakdong River and Suyong River.
Busan used to be the host of Asian Games 2002 and APEC 2005 and is the co-host of 2002 FIFA World Cup. Moreover, on the 14th November 2005, Busan applied for a candidate to host the Summer Olympic Games 2020.

Agreement
Busan of the Republic of Korea signed on Sister City Agreement with Bangkok by M.R. Sukhumphan Boriphat (Governor of Bangkok) and Mr. Hur Nam-sik (Mayor of Busan) on the 11th July 2011 at Busan. The relationship of both cities has been very well since the signing on the agreement till the present time.
